For the child there are anatomic, physiological, morphological, emotional and immunological immaturity specifics, which define features of development and outcomes of disease. The organism of the child constantly grows and develops. It's well known a growing child’s reaction to surrounding environment, his/her food needs, ability to resist to infections and to take various diseases change dramatically.

Hence, the correct estimation of the laboratory tests and understanding of an originality of children's pathology are possible according to profound knowledge of anatomical-physiological features of a growing organism of the child. All this necessitates knowledge of laws of children’s physical, psychological development for the correct organization of daily routine, care and feeding and diseases prevention.  Children’s physical examination demands the special medical techniques which studying is included into propedpediatrics course.
