CARDIOLOGY

In the list of promising specialties, the field of health care and medicine ranks special. This field meets the vital needs of society and continues to play a key role in the further development of mankind. Not a single society can do without a medical care system, and people in them are highly demanded.

This testifies to that the demand for specialists in the field of health and medicine is not currently in doubt. Modern medicine is a dynamically developing, high-tech branch of human activity. Information technology and the introduction of the results of scientific and technological progress in medical practice and science have made it almost impossible to do without specially trained personnel today.

Traditionally, the medical education system in our country is developing successfully, and in recent years there has been a steady need for medical personnel in the countries of Southeast Asia. Graduates of medical universities of our country successfully work in India, Pakistan, Germany, England and other countries. The latter determines the sustained interest and growing need for our graduates in these countries. Therefore, even for a novice doctor it is not difficult to find a job. Another advantage of the medical profession is the ability to work not only in the countries of Southeast Asia, but also in developed countries, such as the USA, Great Britain and Germany, where the work of a doctor is highly regarded.

So, there are five advantages of the medical specialty being quite obvious: the first one is an interesting job with great opportunities for self-realization; the second is high wages; thirdly, you can always find a job; the fourth one is the opportunity to work in any country; the fifth, to be a truly necessary person, to help people and awareness of this is really important.

One of the main and complex sections of internal diseases is Cardiology. Diseases of the cardiovascular system are one of the leading causes of death among adults. Coronary heart disease, acute myocardial infarction, hypertension remain the main problems of modern medicine. Therefore, primary prevention, timely diagnosis and adequate treatment of the most common cardiological diseases is the main task of a general practitioner, therapist, and cardiologist. As part of this course, students will receive knowledge and practical skills in the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of the most common diseases of cardiovascular disease (CVD): coronary heart disease (CHD), angina pectoris, acute myocardial infarction (AMI), complications of AMI, hypertension, secondary arterial hypertension, congenital and acquired heart defects, myocarditis, cardiomyopathy, pericarditis, cardiac arrhythmias and conduction, heart failure. Particular attention will be paid to manageable risk factors for coronary heart disease, hypertension, primary and secondary prevention of rheumatic fever, as well as modern methods of treating acute coronary syndrome and heart defects.

Electrocardiography (ECG) is the most accessible and informative method for examining the heart. Any doctor should be able to decrypt the ECG. The student will receive the necessary knowledge and skills to interpret the ECG for various pathologies of the heart and apply this knowledge and skills in clinical practice. One of the promising areas of modern cardiology is endovascular methods of treatment of coronary heart disease - reperfusion methods for unstable angina pectoris, early stages of AMI using stenting, ballooning. Of great clinical significance is the timely referral of patients with heart defects and coronary heart disease to surgical treatment. Students will gain knowledge of the possibilities of therapeutic and surgical treatments for these diseases. Knowledge of the nature of a particular CVD pathology is the basis of primary and secondary prevention of these diseases.

Modern medical practice requires the training of qualified doctors who can solve complex issues of early recognition, rational treatment and prevention of various diseases of internal organs. Knowledge of the basics of clinical medicine, which are taught at the department of therapeutic disciplines, is important for the training of doctors of all specialties. When studying the discipline, clinical thinking is formed, the foundations of medical ethics and deontology are laid, skills are mastered in examining patients, making decisions about the administration of treatment and emergency care in life-threatening conditions. This is all necessary for a future specialist, regardless of the scope of his upcoming activities. Knowledge of internal diseases teaches students to recognize occupational diseases and the ability to substantiate recommendations for the treatment, prevention and working ability of patients.
