AIMS & GOALS

The purpose of the Dean's Office: Organization of the educational process and educational work with students of the International Higher School of Medicine (hereinafter IHSM).

Tasks of the Dean'sOoffice:

  • Organization, coordination and control of the full cycle of the faculty’s educational process (movement of the contingent, interaction with departments and students, monitoring of progress, organization of exams, tests, repeat courses, elimination of academic differences, organization of academic mobility of students, organization of the State Attestation Commission);
  • Ensuring interaction of the Dean's Office with students' parents and partner agents on academic and social issues;
  • Organization of office work (formation of personal files of students, tracking and storage);
  • Providing the necessary documents (student ID, grade books, academic certificates, academic references, etc.);
  • Maintaining statistics. analysis by student body;
  • Monitoring and updating the student database in the Automated Control System (ACS);
  • Organization of social support for students (students’ adaptation to study and life in the Kyrgyz Republic, medical examinations, treatment if needed, resolution of conflict situations with the participation of students, student cultural events);
  • Ensuring document control of the educational process

Functions of the Dean's Office:

  • Organization of student movement;
  • Organization of the work of the Admissions Committee and entrance exams;
  • Organization of the work of departments for academic support of students: duty roaster, consultation schedule, administering repeat courses;
  • Organization and monitoring of academic  progress;
  • Organization of exams;
  • Organization of tests;
  • Organization of repeated courses;
  • Resolution of complaints from students and teaching staff regarding the educational process;
  • Determination and organization of the elimination of academic differences;
  • Organization of academic mobility of students;
  • Organization of the SAC;
  • Organization of the work of the Dean's Office with students' parents;
  • Organization of work of the Dean's Office with partner agents;
  • Formation of personal files of students, their tracking and storage;
  • Registration and issuance of student cards, grade books, academic references, and transcripts of academic record;
  • Monitoring and updating the student database in the ACS;
  • Organization of adaptation of students to study and life in the Kyrgyz Republic;
  • Organization of medical examinations of students;
  • Organization of treatment for students;
  • Resolution of student complaints regarding social and domestic support;
  • Resolving conflict situations with the participation of students;
  • Conducting cultural events for students;
  • Record keeping for the educational process
