Department of Education Quality

AIMS&GOALS

Goal of the Department:  To ensure control and evaluation of quality of the educational process and pedagogical activity of the IHSM. 

Tasks of the Department:

  • Organizing monitoring of the educational programs implementation for compliance with national and international standards.
  • Organizing and conducting activities to prepare the university and educational programs for international and national accreditation.
  • Organizing quality assessment of the educational process and teaching activities.
  • Development, implementation and maintenance of a quality management system for the educational process and teaching activities.
  • Coordination, information and methodological support on participation in the national and international ranking of universities.

Functions of Department:

  • Analysis of international and national requirements for implementation of educational programs.
  • Analysis of the resource and information quality of the IHSM educational programs (regulatory-legal, normative-technical, methodological, organizational, economic, information-technical, pedagogical) in accordance with the international and national requirements.
  • Development and submission of proposals to improve the quality of the educational programs implementation.
  • Organizing and conducting self-evaluation in preparation for national and international accreditation.
  • Information and methodological support and consulting of structural divisions on the issues of accreditation of the university and individual educational programs.
  • Organization of the post-accreditation period.
  • Collecting feedback from students on issues of satisfaction with the educational process and pedagogical activities.
  • Quality control of training sessions.
  • Evaluation the teaching staff activities.
  • Running of events to determine the rating of teaching staff and departments.
  • Review of departments.
  • Development and updating of documents regulating the education quality assurance system.
  • Participation in events dedicated to constant development of the staff in educational quality.
  • Development and submission of proposals for activities aimed at improving and maintaining the quality of education.
  • Interaction with education institutions, partners and other universities on the quality of the educational process and teaching activities.
  • Study and generalization of experience of other universities in improving their quality of education and development of recommendations for its application at the IHSM.
  • Analysis of the requirements for the IHSM participation in the national and international rankings of universities.
  • Organization of the IHSM participation  in the national and international rankings of universities.
