BASIC PHARMACOLOGY
In the modern system of training a doctor, including in the specialty «General Medicine», basic pharmacology is one of the most important areas of medical knowledge.
Basic pharmacology studies the interaction of drugs with the human body: general patterns, features of the pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic properties of groups and individual pharmacological drugs, side effects, indications and contraindications for use. As an academic discipline, basic pharmacology forms ideas about the basic properties of medicinal substances that determine their pharmacological activity, about the principles and rules for the effective, reliable and safe use of drugs for the treatment, prevention or diagnosis of diseases.
