Annual conference ORHPEUS-2023 Leuven, Belgium
From April 13 to April 15, 2023, the annual conference ORHPEUS-2023 is being held at the
Catholic University of Leuven, Belgium. Representatives of the International Higher School of
Medicine take part in the conference events:
- Asel A. Usenova - Vice-Rector for academic affairs IHSM;
- Aliia E. Bazhanova - Dean of the Postgraduate studies
The annual ORPHEUS conferences are the main platform for establishing cooperation between
member universities implementing doctoral programs. The conferences also provide an
opportunity to discuss best practice in teaching PhD students and issues of evaluation and
accreditation of PhD programs, to support ORPHEUS members with less experience in
organizing PhD doctoral studies and the opportunity to meet with key stakeholders and influence
the policy-making of PhD programs in Europe at the national, European and international levels.
The purpose of the conference ORHPEUS-2023 is to discuss various aspects of doctoral
training and research activities, the transformation of education in a rapidly changing world.
