Our students’ participation in the Eco-festival
On the 15th April 2023, the Arts club "Talents", affiliated with the Humanities Department of International Higher School of Medicine participated in the Eco-festival, "6R Fest", hosted at the prestigious American University of Central Asia.
This auspicious event was sponsored by the Kyrgyz-German-Swiss GIZ program, "Green Economy and Sustainable Development of the Private Sector in the Kyrgyz Republic".
Distinguished speakers, including Nurzhamal Karamoldoeva, Head of the Center for Civic Engagement (CCA) of AUCA, and Aizhan Chynybayeva, an eco-activist and businesswoman representing the "Eco Demi" foundation and "Let's do it" eco-movement in KP, delivered their profound insights on various eco-friendly practices.
The event was adorned with a multitude of stalls featuring eco-friendly handcrafted products from local Kyrgyz manufacturers. Moreover, three enlightening workshops were conducted to educate the attendees on climate change and its impact.
The Talents Arts-club proudly showcased their artistic talent, delivering a delightful concert program and exhibiting their impressive artworks. All participants of the festival were awarded certificates for their contribution to the success of the event.
In addition to that, the organizers extended their heartfelt appreciation to the Talents Arts club for their exceptional program and expressed their desire for future collaboration.
