Rector’s visit to Japan
During the working visit of Rector of the International Higher School of Medicine (IHSM), Stalbek M. Akhunbaev, to Japan together with the Vice-Rector for Scientific Affairs and State Language, Orozali Zh. Uzakov, Rector’s Advisor, Yusupzhan K. Umetaliev, met with Professor Motoyuki Kassa, Head of the Department of Global Health Research (Interdisciplinary Department) of Juntendo University and our outstanding graduate of 2015, M.D., Ph.D., Dr. Ishtiaq Ahmad.
Dr. Ishtiaq Ahmad in 2017 enrolled as a Ph.D. student at a Graduate School of Medicine, Juntendo University, Tokyo, Japan, a high-ranked university in Asia, and got his Ph.D. Degree in Medicine.
During his research years in Japan, he got Japanese Government (Monbukagakusho:MEXT Scholarship) and JICA research assistantship.
Moreover, he keeps participating in international projects as well as research grants. Currently, Dr. Ishtiaq Ahmad, works as an assistant professor at the Juntendo University.
The history of Juntendo University dates back to the late Edo period, in 1838, that makes the University the oldest school of Western medicine in Japan that is still operating.
Recall, the delegation of the IHSM is visiting Japan, within the framework of participation in the International Conference “The 10th World Food Congress (WCFN) 2023”, which was organized by Bit Congress Inc. (GC GLOBAL Ltd.), held from January 9 to 11, 2023, in Sapporo, Japan.
The administration of the IHSM expresses its gratitude to Dr.Ishtiaq Ahmad for organizing a meeting between two parties. Having seen the scientific results and achievements of our graduate, we feel proud to have such a prominent graduate and wish him more bright ideas applied to immense zeal and new year filled wish pleasant events.
