Makhabat K. Karagulova, Head of the International Affairs Department of the International Higher School of Medicine (IHSM) has been participating in the joint initiative of the Ministry of Education and Science, the National Erasmus+ Office in Kyrgyzstan, and the Development Centre "Ala - Too", a four-day Summer School called "How To Write And Publish A Research Article In A Scopus Indexed Journal." 

Led by experts in higher education reformation, the program aims to provide participants with the necessary knowledge and skills to write and publish research articles in Scopus indexed journals. The event was inaugurated by Imanaliev Kanybek, the Minister of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic, who delivered an opening speech. Dr. Urmat Tynaliev from the University of Minnesota, USA, and Dr. Kadyrbek Sultakeev from Justus Liebig University Giessen, Germany are the head coach facilitators for the event, along with other distinguished speakers who shared their insights and experiences in their respective scientific fields. 

The curriculum of the seminar focuses on improving participants' research writing skills for articles and publications. This Summer School provides a valuable opportunity for aspiring researchers, graduate students, and academics across the country who are keen to enhance their research writing abilities and increase their chances of publishing in reputable Scopus indexed journals.
