In a significant development in the global education market, the ranking of higher education institutions has emerged as a vital indicator. With fierce competition among universities worldwide to foster internationalization, expand academic mobility, and attract applicants and foreign students, demonstrating the level of education quality assurance has become paramount.

The Independent Agency for Accreditation and Rating (IAAR), the leading international accreditation agency for quality assurance in education, has recently released the institutional ranking of universities in the country. This ranking serves as a benchmark for evaluating the training of specialists in various fields, including health education.

In this latest ranking, the International Higher School of Medicine (IHSM) has achieved a remarkable feat by securing the 3rd place. IHSM has consistently demonstrated its commitment to providing high-quality education and nurturing talented individuals in the field of healthcare.

The IAAR, established in 2011, has been diligently conducting the "Independent Ranking of Universities in the Kyrgyz Republic" since 2018. The agency's activities align with the quality assurance standards set by the European Higher Education Area ESG and the World Federation of Medical Education (WFME).
