Dear Colleagues,

The 29th World Congress of Echinococcosis will be held in Bishkek from August 28 to August 30, 2023. The Congress will be organized with the support of the World Echinococcosis Association, International Higher School of Medicine, I.K. Akhunbaev Kyrgyz State Medical Academy, University of Zurich, Department of Disease Prevention and State Sanitary and Epidemiological Surveillance and  A. Duisheev Kyrgyz Research Institute of Veterinary Medicine.

We expect the XXIX World Echinococcosis Congress to be the premier scientific event that will bring together experts and professionals in this field from all over the world to this region. This meeting will create conditions for the exchange of research experience, outstanding results, cooperation and improved relations between all participants.

The congress is addressed to physicians, veterinarians, biologists, parasitologists, pharmacologists, infectious disease specialists, surgeons, epidemiologists, medical practitioners, laboratory specialists, economists and anyone involved and/or interested in echinococcosis. The Congress will be held in the form of scientific sessions, symposiums, plenary sessions, verbal as well as poster presentations.

We thank all of you in advance for your participation and commitment in the fight against these zoonotic parasites. Your presence at this World Congress will enhance the prestige of this outstanding scientific event.

The official language of the Congress is English, with the simultaneous translation into Russian.
