Pre-Medical Applicants

All pre-medical classes take place at the Central Campus of IHSM, which different tutors will teach. These are:

 

ENGLISH

The goals and objectives of teaching English in a medical university are to form the relevant communicative competence in professional interaction.

English in General Medicine is designed for learners whose command of English ranges from high school to college level and requires improvement in their understanding and active use of English in real-life communication to make their career development efforts successful.

 

PHYSICS with the course of higher mathematics 

The physics and higher mathematics training courses are designed to study the areas of mathematics and physics at an accessible level of difficulty with the main focus on theoretical knowledge and the solution of various problems.

 

The subject is targeted at forming students' ability to distinguish between facts and assessments, get a holistic view of physics's role in creating a natural-science picture of the world, and know more of the fundamental physics laws and their practical applications in life.

 

BIOLOGY

The biology training course pursues developing students' theoretical knowledge about the interconnection of living systems, basic biological laws and processes, and systems of human life activity. Learning of fundamental systems and life activity of human beings serves as the basis of medical knowledge and expertise necessary to preserve human health in various conditions.

 

The program also aims to educate students to competently perceive and look at human health, protect nature, overcome the
environmental crisis, and improve the doctor's active position to save life on Earth.

 

CHEMISTRY

The chemistry course is designed to develop students' knowledge for the subsequent specialized disciplines and for a more comprehensive education in biochemistry, pharmacology, and many physicochemical research methods used in medicine.

 

The chemistry training course is comprised of three parts: General Chemistry and Theoretical Fundamentals of the Course, Non-organic Chemistry.  Properties of chemical elements and their compounds and Organic Chemistry.

 

For future physicians, knowledge of organic, biological, pharmaceutical chemistry is necessary to prevent the negative impact of harmful and dangerous factors on patients' health.

HOW TO APPLY

1. An applicant can apply online or through one of our regional partners/representatives.

2. Except the main requirements we have a set of other specific rules for each country. The additional information might be obtained in the regional offices of our regional representatives or directly from our International Cooperation Center (contact information is below).

3. After fulfilling all the requirements  and getting admitted  you will be provided with a provisional admission letter and application form at your request.

4. Finally, as soon as your visa invitation is ready, we will mail you a confirmed admission letter with visa invitation (if foreign applicant).

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS

1. Admission to IHSM pre-medical courses shall be carried out on the basis of the personal application of citizens.

2. When applying for admission to pre-medical courses an applicant must provide the following documents:

  • passport with an appropriate entry visa;
  • original or certified photocopy of the State Certificate of Education;
  • an application to the pre-medical courses;
  • 5 colored photographs of 3x4 cm in size;
  • Certificate of negative PCR result.

PAYMENT FOR TRAINING AND CONCLUSION OF THE CONTRACT

1. Tuition fee for 2020-2021 academic year is 50750 soms (KGS).

2. The costs associated with the stay of foreign applicants / students in the Kyrgyz Republic, including payment for meals, accommodation, additional educational services and other expenses shall be incurred independently by the applicant / student or official representative, in accordance with the rules and procedures established in the IHSM.

3. An applicant can apply online to the International Cooperation Center (contact information is below) or through one of our regional partners/representatives.

4. After fulfilling all the requirements  and getting admitted  you will be provided with a provisional admission letter and application form at your request.
