Opening of a new center, Dr. Mudassir Mohammed Ghouse

MercyOne Siouxland opened a new set of doors in the Singing Hills neighborhood Monday afternoon. They cut the ribbon on a new Urgent Care facility next to their Occupational Health Center along Singing Hills Boulevard.

Numerous people played a pivotal role in the plans of the new urgent care, among them, our graduate of 2009 -  Dr. Muddasir Mohammed Ghouse, who has been working as an Executive Director of Rural Hospital and Clinic Operations at the MercyOne integrated system of hospitals.

MercyOne is one of the largest health care systems in Iowa, United States,  beyond with more than 2,000 physicians and advanced practice clinicians, across sixteen medical centers and 26 affiliated organizations with nearly 20,000 colleagues. 

Dr. Muddasir Mohammed Ghouse served as Director of Operations at Jackson Health System in Miami, Florida, United States . 

His journey at the IHSM began in September 2004 and  graduated in June 2009. 

He was the founder of ISN-TUNDUK  @isntunduk student organization during his student years at the IHSM under the guidance of Elena Petrovna Alekseeva and  attended numerous conferences in Egypt, Netherlands, Belgium, Turkey, and Switzerland during his student years at the IHSM. 

After his graduation from the IHSM, he moved to the United States  to pursue his Masters in Public Health with a specialization in Environmental & Occupational Health and Health Policy & Management from Florida International University in Miami, FL in August 2012.

In January 2021, he graduated with a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Healthcare Management from Western Governors University from Salt Lake City, Utah. 

Moreover, he is a Certified Correctional Health Professional and a Licensed Healthcare Risk Manager in the state Florida and the member of the American College of Healthcare Executives. 

He is an American citizen, married and had one baby boy.
