STUDENT ACTIVITIES

Students come to the IHSM Issyk-Kul campus from different countries with their own distinctive culture, traditions, and lifestyle. The main goal of the administration and teachers is to help them get used to the new conditions. Sometimes simple information about places to buy clothes and food is very necessary for the normal life of students. IHSM provides the opportunity to live in school dormitories and rent apartments. However, we advise to choose dormitory options for students of the first years of studies. 

The hostels of the IHSM Issyk-Kul campus are a unique place for life, the exchange of ideas and knowledge. Students mainly from India live in them. Dining rooms with national cuisine are located near the dormitories. In addition, each hostel is supervised by IHSM teachers and supervisors from India, who assist students during the adaptation period in a foreign environment, contribute to the preservation of their physical and mental health.

We try to ensure that our students are versatile-developed individuals, so they are provided not only with accommodation, medical care, but also with socio-cultural and sporting events where they can show themselves. They have the opportunity to create interest circles, attend dances, sports sections in cricket, football, volleyball and chess, as well as join the already created student organizations “Student Council ISM Issk-Kul”.

“Student Council ISM Issk-Kul” is the main and only representative of students in the university administration and the executive body of student self-government, which is elected by students of IHSM Issyk-Kul campus. The main goal of the student council is to define and protect the rights of students, ensure the well-being of the entire student community, ensure the participation of students in the general management of the IHSM of the Issyk-Kul campus, and represent interests in administrative, academic and non-educational areas.

The diversity of student life allows students of the IHSM Issyk-Kul campus not only to expand their educational opportunities, but also to take an active life position, develop creative abilities, improve themselves, feel life in all its vivid manifestation.
