On April 12, 2023, a collaborative effort by the Standing Committee Reproductive Rights and Health including HIV and AIDS (SCORA), I.K. Akhunbaev Kyrgyz State Medical Academy (KSMA) International Higher School of Medicine (IHSM) and International  School of Medicine International University of Kyrgyzstan (ISM IUK) was launched. The event, called "PROJECT MAMA 2.0: A Step towards Better Health," was dedicated to promoting women's health.

The initiative began with obstetrics and gynecology examinations and different tests. The goal of Project Mama 2.0 was to improve women's reproductive health and ensure they have access to essential health services.

In order to complete phase 01 of the project, the polyclinic known as "Ministry of Health of the KYRGYZ Republic - Family Medicine Center № 9 Bishkek group of family physicians № 4" located in AK-ORDO was selected. A team of 10 SCORA members, led by the National Officer, was present to support the initiative.

The team members were divided into three groups, with the female group assisting the check-up of obstetrics and gynecology patients, and two professor doctors, Dr. Guljat from KSMA and Dr.Kahkashan from IHSM, joining the team to provide their expertise. The other two groups were assigned to the pediatric wards to assist the doctors in taking patient histories and making diagnoses.

The success of Project Mama 2.0 was expected to inspire similar initiatives in the future, supporting women's health and well-being. This event has demonstrated the power of collaboration and dedication towards creating a better future for women.
