Representatives of the International Higher School of Medicine (IHSM) took part in the first World Conference on Stem Cells and Regenerative Medicine, which was held at the second World Conference on Biological Sciences and Biotechnology in Paris, France on May 15, 2023.

One of the scientific directions of the IHSM is the biomedical approach in fundamental physiology and the basics of clinical pathogenesis of the most pressing medical problems. The physiology and pathological physiology of cellular structures based on the content of variable regions of chromosomes (Q-heterochromatin) is another priority scientific direction of the IHSM.

At the first World Conference on Stem Cells and Regenerative Medicine, the speaker from the IHSM shared key research points in the field of body thermoregulation and heat conduction under the influence of an infectious agent. The main result that the employees of the IHSM achieved in this area is the development of indicators for the timely determination of the severity and/or outcome of COVID-19. 

Thus, the IHSM's research optimizes the system of medical sorting of patients with infectious diseases into categories of severity with the aim of providing full medical care based on objective data on their body thermoregulation.
