On November 12–13, the Tashkent State University of the Uzbek Language and Literature named after Alisher Navoi (Republic of Uzbekistan) hosted an international scientific and practical conference “Problems of Comparative Studies and Translation Studies.”
The conference was attended by representatives from Italy, Turkiye, Switzerland, Germany, Egypt, Iran, Russia, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan, who are sharing their experiences and presenting research papers on issues of comparative studies and translation studies.
On behalf of the IHSM, the Head of the State language and language policy department Rima Zh. Zaiyrkulovahas participated in the conference.
During the conference, participants witnessed the opening of the Chyngiz Aitmatov Kyrgyz Language Center. Such conferences play a crucial role in fostering academic collaboration, promoting intercultural dialogue, and enhancing the exchange of knowledge between IHSM and partner institutions from different countries. In addition to that it broadens research perspectives, support the development of language policy, and contribute to strengthening the global academic community.
