IHSM Representatives Participate in Study Tour at Vilnius University within the D-TIDE-KG Project

From May 24 to 30, 2026, representatives of the International Higher School of Medicine (IHSM) are participating in an international Study Tour and training seminars held at Vilnius University (Lithuania) within the framework of the D-TIDE-KG project — “Digital Transformation for Inclusive Doctoral Education in Kyrgyzstan”, implemented under the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union.

IHSM serves as the coordinator and grant holder of the D-TIDE-KG project aimed at promoting digital transformation in doctoral education, introducing modern digital solutions into PhD programmes, and strengthening an inclusive educational environment in the Kyrgyz Republic.

The programme officially opened at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration of Vilnius University. Welcome addresses were delivered by Dean Professor Aida Mačerinskienė and the Project Leader of D-TIDE-KG, Assoc. Prof. Dr Kenesh Dzhusupov representing the International Higher School of Medicine.

The event brings together representatives of leading universities of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic, and European partner institutions.

The programme includes:
• discussions on the digitalization of PhD education;
• exchange of international experience in research and academic administration;
• familiarization with best practices of Vilnius University in digital administration, accreditation, and quality assurance;
• visits to scientific and digital laboratories of Vilnius University;
• round tables and expert discussions on the development of doctoral education.

At the conclusion of the training programme, participants were awarded certificates.

Participation of IHSM in the D-TIDE-KG project contributes to strengthening academic cooperation, enhancing research capacity, and modernizing doctoral education in the Kyrgyz Republic.
