The project of the International Olympiad «Tabigyyly Ilmderge Kyrgyz Tilinde Sayakat» has received a patent, underscoring its innovation and contribution to promoting the state language in higher educ

The International Olympiad «Tabigyyly Ilmderge Kyrgyz Tilinde Sayakat» was initially developed and held at the Department of Natural Sciences. The event was part of efforts to promote the state language and use appropriate terminology in teaching medical natural sciences in Kyrgyz. Following the departmental stage, the project received high recognition and was recommended for implementation at the interuniversity level.

The Olympiad was later organized in a joint format with the participation of the International Higher School of Medicine (IHSM), the I. Akhunbaev Kyrgyz State Medical Academy, and other higher education institutions in Kyrgyzstan. The event brought together students from various medical universities and created a shared educational platform aimed at developing their language and professional competencies.

As a result of the implementation of the project «Tabigyyly Ilmderge Kyrgyz Tilinde Sayakat» a patent was obtained, confirming its scientific novelty, practical significance, and uniqueness. The project aims to expand the Kyrgyz-language terminological base in the natural sciences and to increase students’ interest, including that of international students, in the state language. Within the framework of the project, methodological materials, interactive assignments, and competition formats in biology, physics, and chemistry were developed to facilitate effective learning of terms in Kyrgyz.

On May 19, 2025, the Olympiad was held jointly with the I. Akhunbaev Kyrgyz State Medical Academy in accordance with Rector’s Order № 71 dated April 9, 2025. The Olympiad included five competitive rounds, during which participants demonstrated their theoretical knowledge, language competence, and creative abilities.

As a result of the International Olympiad, the project was granted a patent, contributing to the development of the state language in higher education, the expansion of teaching medical natural sciences in Kyrgyz, and the enhancement of student’s language competence.

The authors of the project are: Vice-Rector for Science, State Language, and Language Policy, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor O.J. Uzakov; G.I. Junushalieva; Head of the Department of State Language and Language Policy R. J. Zaiyrkulova; E.K. Abdrasulova; Head of the Department of Natural Sciences Ch.S. Ismailova; Deputy Dean J.K. Mukambetova; Ch.B. Aidyralieva; A.M. Baidzhuranova. According to their assessment, the project has high potential for large-scale implementation and can serve as an effective model for integrating the state language into the educational process of universities.
