On March 25, 2026, the International Higher School of Medicine had the honor of welcoming a delegation from Westsächsische Hochschule Zwickau (Germany).

During the meeting, the parties discussed key areas of academic cooperation, including: — development of Dual-Degree Programs (admissions, timelines, and implementation) — organization of the Summer School at WHZ on the topic “Healthcare Management” (May 31 – June 8, 2026) — strengthening collaboration in research and postgraduate education
The program also featured PhD student presentations from IHSM, highlighting ongoing research initiatives, followed by a guest lecture delivered by Prof. Dr. Tom Schaal on “Ethical Principles and Challenges in the Use of AI in Nursing.”
The visit concluded with a networking lunch, providing an opportunity to further strengthen institutional ties and explore future collaborative initiatives.
This meeting marks an important step in advancing international academic partnership between Kyrgyzstan and Germany.
