On April 28, 2025, the Department of Internal Medicine at IHSM, led by Nazira T. Kudaibergenova, D.Sc. (Medicine), Professor, organized an event dedicated to the promotion and development of the Kyrgyz language. The event gathered 3rd- and 4th-year students from both the Central and Issyk-Kul campuses of IHSM, who enthusiastically presented on prominent physicians and scientists from Kyrgyzstan, India, and Pakistan. Their presentations were enriched with performances of Kyrgyz songs, storytelling, proverbs, and traditional dances, highlighting the cultural and linguistic diversity within the academic community.
A panel of judges, including Gulnara M. Subanbekova, Head of the Academic Affairs Department, Rima Zh. Zaiyrkulova, Head of the State Language and Language Policy Department; and Chynargul A. Osmonalieva, Accountant, evaluated the student performances. The most outstanding contributions were recognized with certificates and prizes, encouraging students to take pride in linguistic heritage and intercultural dialogue.
