On April 10–11, 2025, the Tashkent Medical Academy, Republic of Uzbekistan, hosted the International Scientific and Practical Conference titled “Current Issues of Nutrition and Dietetics: Nutritional Features of Various Population Groups,” held within the framework of the Erasmus+ BERNICA Project. This significant event brought together medical experts and researchers to explore the latest developments in nutrition science, with a focus on public health and tailored dietary approaches for diverse population groups.
The International Higher School of Medicine (IHSM) was represented by Assoc. Professor Kenesh O. Dzhusupov, Ph.D. (Medicine), Head of the Public Health Department, and Dr. Asylkan Z. Moldobaeva, M.D., Lecturer at the Department of Introduction to Internal Medicine and Family Medicine. Key topics of the conference included protein in sports, functional foods, dietary supplements, nutritional strategies for comorbid patients, nutrition-based approaches for COPD, and endocrine disorders.
