IHSM Participation in the Final Conference of the DEFA CBHE Project

Representatives of the International Higher School of Medicine (IHSM) took part in the Final Conference of the Erasmus+ CBHE Project “Development of the Financial Autonomy of Universities in Kyrgyzstan (DEFA)”, held at the Kyrgyz State Technical University (KSTU).

The conference gathered representatives of ministries, universities, and Erasmus+ partner institutions to discuss the outcomes of this three-year national structural project aimed at enhancing the financial autonomy and sustainability of higher education institutions in Kyrgyzstan.

The event featured a welcome address by Stalbek M. Akhunbaev, Rector of IHSM, who highlighted the importance of strengthening institutional capacity and financial independence within Kyrgyz universities.

Additionally, Ainazik M. Omurzakova, Vice-Rector for International Affairs, Ph.D. (Law), delivered a presentation on IHSM’s experience in implementing innovative financial management practices within the framework of the project.
