III Republican Festival “Kyrgyz Songs Performed by Foreign Students”

On February 20, 2026, the III Republican Festival titled “Kyrgyz Songs Performed by Foreign Students” was successfully held at the Kyrgyz National Philharmonic named after T. Satylganov. The event was organized by the National Commission on the State Language and Language Policy under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic and Bishkek State University named after Academician K. Karasaev. The International Higher School of Medicine (IHSM) is the copyright holder of the festival.

IHSM was represented by talented students from the “Sensation” group: Sumedh Petkar, Tushar Jain, Dipankar Kakde, Varad Katore, Priti Patil, Shivmala Shivling Dubukwad, Vivek Jadhav, Diya Jain, Shruti Sankhian, Aditya Parmar, and Geet Jain. According to the festival requirements, our students performed their numbers in the Kyrgyz language and in the true Kyrgyz spirit. As a result, they proudly won 1st place.

The Rector of IHSM Stalbek M. Akhunbaev met with the team and students who were involved in organizing and preparing for the festival and personally expressed his sincere gratitude. He also shared thoughts on future goals and development plans. Official letters of appreciation and gifts from the Ministry of Science, Higher Education and Innovation of the Kyrgyz Republic, the National Commission on the State Language and Language Policy under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, and Bishkek State University named after Academician K. Karasaev were ceremoniously presented.

Letters of appreciation were awarded to the International Higher School of Medicine, Rector Akhunbaev S.M., Vice-Rector Uzakov O. Zh., Vice-Dean Mukambetova Zh.K., Head of the Department. Zayyrkulova R.Zh, specialist Galieva D.A., and specialist Sagynbaeva M.B.

The Challenge Cup of the IV Republican Festival “Kyrgyz Songs Performed by Foreign Students” was officially handed over to the Kyrgyz State Medical Academy named after I.K. Akhunbaev. We wish them great success!

May the Kyrgyz language, Kyrgyz songs, and Kyrgyz dances continue to be performed, spoken, and promoted among foreign students and become increasingly recognized around the world!
