IHSM Participates in the Final Conference of the Erasmus+ GREENKG Project

On June 2, 2026, representatives of the International Higher School of Medicine (IHSM) participated in the Final Conference of the Erasmus+ GREENKG Project – “Green and Digital Universities for Sustainable Development of Kyrgyzstan,” held at I. Razzakov Kyrgyz State Technical University.

The conference brought together representatives of the Ministry of Science, Higher Education and Innovations of the Kyrgyz Republic, the National Erasmus+ Office in Kyrgyzstan, partner universities from Kyrgyzstan and Europe, as well as experts in the fields of sustainable development, digital transformation, and higher education.

During the opening ceremony, Prof. Stalbek M. Akhunbaev, Rector of IHSM, addressed the participants and emphasized the importance of integrating green and digital approaches into modern higher education while strengthening international academic cooperation.

Within the conference programme, Ainazik M. Omurzakova, Vice-Rector for International Relations, PhD, and Project Coordinator at IHSM, presented the results of the Erasmus+ GREENKG Project implementation at the International Higher School of Medicine. In addition, Makhabat K. Karagulova, Head of the International Relations Department of IHSM, delivered a presentation on quality assurance within the project framework.

Participation in the conference highlighted IHSM’s active contribution to the development of sustainable and digital higher education, the implementation of international educational initiatives, and the promotion of environmental responsibility within the academic community.
