The IHSM Department of Humanities proudly continues its tradition of introducing students to the enchanting world of classical art through cultural visits to the Kyrgyz National Opera and Ballet Theatre.
On February 15, 2026, faculty members together with first-year students enjoyed an unforgettable evening featuring two remarkable one-act ballets - Carmen Suite and Walpurgis Night.
The performance captivated the audience with its elegance, grace, and breathtaking artistry. During the visit, students learned about the rich history of the theatre, admired its magnificent interiors, and experienced the true magic of live performance. They also became acquainted with theatre etiquette, explored costumes, posters, and programs, and enjoyed the powerful sound of a live orchestra filling the hall with timeless beauty.
The evening was truly special - full of excitement, inspiration, and admiration for the extraordinary talent of the ballet dancers.
