A staff member of the Department of Surgical Diseases of the International Higher School of Medicine (IHSM), Akbermet A. Anarbaeva, successfully completed an international internship as part of her PhD studies.
The internship was carried out within the framework of the Welcome Hai Now Exchange Programme, organized by Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine in collaboration with the Hainan International Medical Center.
The program took place from March 16 to March 27, 2026, at the Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine (Hainan Campus), located on Hainan Island, China.
During the internship, participants explored key issues in modern medicine, including the implementation of artificial intelligence technologies in clinical practice. The program contributed to the enhancement of professional competencies and provided valuable exposure to advanced international experience.
