The event was organized in implementation of the Decree of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic dated December 18, 2024 No. 369, “National Spirit – Global Heights”, and was dedicated to February 21 – International Mother Language Day.

The opening ceremony was attended by the State Secretary of the Kyrgyz Republic Koichiev A.K., the Minister of Science, Higher Education and Innovations Isamatova G.T., the Chairman of the National Commission on the State Language and Language Policy Murataliev M.K., representatives of the Embassies of India and China, as well as university leaders, faculty members, students, and cultural figures.

The main purpose of the festival was to promote the Kyrgyz language, national culture, and artistic heritage among foreign students, as well as to foster intercultural dialogue. In the competitive part of the festival, teams from 10 universities across the republic participated. They presented university introduction performances, performed Kyrgyz national songs, and demonstrated national dance art.

Based on the jury’s evaluation, the best performances were selected, and the winners were awarded diplomas and valuable prizes. This festival made a significant contribution to enhancing the prestige of the Kyrgyz language, strengthening intercultural relations, and increasing foreign students’ interest in Kyrgyz culture.

Our students introduced the university in fluent Kyrgyz with elements of humor. In the second performance, the Kyrgyz song “Jorolor” was performed at a high level by Sumedh Petkar and Tushar Jain. In the third performance, a team of 10 students presented the national dance “Kyz Kuumai,” which energized the audience and added special color to the festival. According to the competition results, the International Higher School of Medicine secured 1st place.

We express our deep gratitude to the specialists who prepared our students, as well as to the administration and staff for their support.

Congratulations on this great achievement!
