Dr. Alfisa M. Orozalieva Represents Kyrgyzstan at the 31st Congress of the Union of European Phoniatricians

The 31st Congress of the Union of European Phoniatricians (UEP) took place from June 4th to 7th, 2025, in Prague, Czech Republic, gathering leading experts in the fields of voice, speech, audiology, and swallowing disorders. Held at the state-of-the-art Cubex Centre Prague, the congress offered a dynamic program featuring lectures, workshops, and symposia dedicated to the latest advancements and clinical practices in phoniatrics.

This year’s congress was structured around four main thematic sections: Audiology and Hearing, Voice and Laryngology, Speech and Language, and Swallowing. It provided a valuable platform for global experts to exchange research findings, share clinical experiences, and strengthen professional collaboration.

We are proud to share that Dr. Alfisa M. Orozalieva, Ph.D. (Medicine), Associate Professor and lecturer at the Department of Special Clinical Disciplines of the International Higher School of Medicine (IHSM), participated in the congress as the only official member of the UEP from Kyrgyzstan and serves as the national coordinator for Kyrgyzstan.

Dr. Orozalieva’s participation underscores the growing international presence of Kyrgyz medical professionals and their contribution to advancing specialized medical knowledge.
