On October 24, 2024, the Kyrgyz State Technical University named after I. Razzakov held a discussion on the state of teaching the state language in higher educational institutions. The forum was attended by the Minister of Education and Science, D. S. Kendirbayeva, the Chairman of the National Commission on the State Language and Language Policy M. K. Murataliev, rectors and vice-rectors of universities, as well as experts on the state language.

The following problems related to teaching languages in universities were discussed at the forum.
• Introduction of the office management training course for graduate students;
• Publishing textbooks and translating materials from other languages;
• Making changes and additions to the programs of the faculties of Kyrgyz Philology (translation, terminology);
• Implementation of the authors' methods by experienced teachers in universities;
• Professional development of teachers;
• Issues related to teaching Kyrgyz as a native language, second language, and foreign language.
During the event, issues regarding the development of the state language were discussed, along with suggestions and comments from universities.
We believe that considering the suggestions and comments on the agenda will contribute to the advancement of efforts to develop the state language in education!
