On April 26, 2025, students from the “Talents: The Arts-Club” and the “Adabiyyat” Literature Club of the Department of Humanities at IHSM participated in the “12R Fest” — a large-scale ecological event held at the American University of Central Asia (AUCA).
The event featured expert talks, including speakers from the WasteNet.KG project, and various eco-activities. IHSM students joined the final stage of the "Sort 1.0" eco-quest, which began in 2024. The team secured 3rd place and was awarded a $400 prize, which supported further development of the Go Green IHSM initiative.
At the festival, IHSM participants showcased a video report on their eco-activities, held a mehndi station for guests, and presented a concert and theatrical sketch on environmental themes. Their contribution was well received by the organizers, who expressed appreciation and interest in future collaboration.
The administration extends gratitude to the IHSM Humanities Department, project coordinator “Green AUCA” - Margarita Lazutkina and coordinator Ms. Shaginay for their green initiative support.
