Dr. Muddasir M. Ghouse, a 2009 graduate of the International Higher School of Medicine (IHSM), has been appointed the service line leader for primary care at Kaleida Health, Buffalo,New York, United States.
In this new role, Dr. Muddasir M. Ghouse will oversee the primary care service line across the system, aligning best practices, leveraging economies of scale, improving the patient experience, and enhancing connections within Kaleida Health and its affiliates.
He joined Kaleida Health from MercyOne Health System where he served as regional vice president of operations. Dr.Muddasir oversaw two hospitals, a cardiovascular service line, a hospitalist program, interventional radiology, a pain clinic, a breast center, and a network of 50 care sites across three states.
In addition to that, he developed a regional cardiology service line model. Before MercyOne, Dr. Muddasir held leadership roles at Jackson Health System in Miami, FL and Medical Diagnostic Services, Inc. in Chicago, IL.
He earned his MD from IHSM, MPH from Florida International University, and MBA from Western Governors University. He is board certified in healthcare management and a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives, Healthcare Financial Management Association, and National Commission on Correctional Health Care.
