The educational and methodological manual «We Speak Kyrgyz» has been released for studying the Kyrgyz language at the Basic (A1) level

Employees of the Kyrgyztest state institution, B.B. Topoeva-Stravinskaya, K.I. Mambetakunova, and Z.K. Momunkulova, developed educational and methodical manual for teaching the state language at the elementary level (A1) using the Kyrgyztest system.

The textbook contains words, phrases, basic etiquette expressions, subtexts, dialogues, and a grammatical reference that help language learners develop primary communication connections in the state language for everyday and socio-cultural contexts at the A1 level, and facilitate communication within the lexical and grammatical minimums of this level.

Since it is important to improve all four skills equally when teaching a language, the proposed training manual provides tasks aimed at developing skills in the following subtests: «Reading», «'Listening», «Speaking» and «Writing», in accordance with the requirements of the A1 level of the national Kyrgyztest system, as well as the competent application of grammatical rules. our sentence is mostly correct but can be slightly improved for clarity. The exercises are organized according to a level system, with positive and negative answer arms illustrated using reference drawings. The packs are designed in ascending order of difficulty (differentiated by level) to remain engaging for language learners regardless of ethnicity. To help people who are just starting to learn the language practice the correct and accurate pronunciation of new words and phrases, small texts and dialogues are provided through a QR code, and conditions are created for the perception of audio phrases pronounced using a QR code. This allows language learners to pronounce words correctly with the appropriate rhythm and intonation.

The manual is intended for teachers and students who are studying Kyrgyz as a foreign language. The state institution «Kyrgyztest» has handed over 100 copies of the educational and methodological manual «We Speak Kyrgyz» to the International Higher School of Medicine for language learners at the A1 level. This teaching aid can be used by teachers and students studying Kyrgyz as a foreign language, as well as by teachers and students at IHSM at the A1 level.

The International Higher School of Medicine expresses its deep gratitude to B.B. Topoeva-Stravinskaya, the director of the state institution «Kyrgyztest».
