On May 14, a Latin language quiz was organized at the Issyk-Kul campus of the International Higher School of Medicine (IHSM). The event aimed to enhance students’ understanding of the Latin language’s significance in the field of medicine, encourage the use of Latin terminology, and strengthen interdisciplinary connections with subjects such as anatomy, pharmacology, and clinical medicine.
Two teams of 2nd-semester students participated in the quiz: “Latin Legends”, and “Mentes Medicae” (Medical Minds).
Both teams demonstrated strong engagement and enthusiasm throughout the event. For their active participation, students were awarded certificates and branded IHSM items.
The quiz not only reinforced linguistic knowledge but also fostered teamwork and academic curiosity, contributing to a more integrated approach to medical education.
