IHSM Delegation Visited WHZ (Germany) for Official Meetings and Partnership Development

On November 18, 2025, the delegation of the International Higher School of Medicine (IHSM) visited Westsächsische Hochschule Zwickau (WHZ) as part of the ongoing collaboration between the two institutions.

The IHSM delegation included:

• Stalbek M. Akhunbaev — Rector of IHSM
• Asel A. Usenova — Vice-Rector for Academic and Clinical Affairs, D.Sc. (Medicine), Acting Professor
• Aliia E. Bazhanova — Dean of Postgraduate Studies, M.D.

During the visit, the delegation held an official meeting with Prof. Stephan Kassel, WHZ Rector, and Prof. Tom Schaal, Dean of the Faculty of Health and Healthcare Sciences. Discussions focused on strengthening strategic cooperation, expanding joint academic initiatives, and developing future mobility programs for students and faculty.

This visit marked an important step in enhancing IHSM–WHZ academic partnership and opening new opportunities for international education, clinical training, and professional development.
