Iodine Deficiency Disorders in Kyrgyzstan

On May 12, 2026, Yulia Shamilievna Chyngyspaeva, a PhD candidate, successfully defended her dissertation at the International Graduate School of Medicine.

She successfully defended her dissertation on the topic: “Iodine Deficiency Disorders in Kyrgyzstan: Assessment of Knowledge, Attitudes, and Practices Among Vulnerable Population Groups” in the field of 561000 “Public Health and Medicine.”

During the defense, the results of a comprehensive scientific study assessing knowledge of iodine deficiency disorders among vulnerable population groups in Kyrgyzstan were presented.
