On June 11, 2026, a presentation ceremony for a number of scientific and popular science publications issued by the National Commission on the State Language under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic and the B. Yunusaliev Institute of Linguistics of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic was held at the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic.
As part of the event, the "Dictionary of the Ancient Kyrgyz Language", containing approximately 16,000 words, was presented to the public, along with publications issued by the International Turkic Academy: the "Dictionary of Linguistic Terms of Turkic Languages", the "Dictionary of International Relations and Diplomatic Terms of Turkic Languages", the "Dictionary of Information Technology and Artificial Intelligence Terms of Turkic Languages", and the work "Thoughts in the Flame of Time."
These publications are aimed at studying the historical heritage of the Kyrgyz language, enriching the terminological resources of Turkic languages, and systematizing modern technological concepts in the national language.
At the event, the Chair of the National Commission on State Language and Language Policy, Melis Murataliev, Academician Syrtbay Musaev, Vice President of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic Gulnara Botokanova, Director of the Institute of Linguistics of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic Symbat Sadykova, as well as representatives of the Administration of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, the National Academy of Sciences, the Ministry of Science, Higher Education and Innovation, prominent scholars, and compilers of the dictionaries took part. Representing the International Higher School of Medicine, R.J. Zaiyrkulova, Head of the Department of State Language and Language Policy, took part in the event.
During the ceremony, a documentary film about ancient Kyrgyz writing was shown, and the scientific and practical significance of the new publications was discussed. The event became an important platform for presenting to the public the results of efforts aimed at preserving and developing the historical heritage of the Kyrgyz language.
