IHSM Faculty Participate in International Exchange Programme at Shanghai Jiao Tong University

As part of the ongoing collaboration between the International Higher School of Medicine (IHSM) and Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine, Hainan International Medical Center, IHSM faculty members are participating in the Hai Nan Exchange Programme held from March 16 to 27, 2026, at the Hainan Free Trade Port.

The two-week programme, themed “Cultivating Digital Talent for Global Health”, provided advanced training at the intersection of digital technologies and healthcare. Participants gained knowledge in bioinformatics, AI-driven medical applications, and biostatistics, while strengthening their skills in research design, data analysis, and evidence-based practice.

The programme also included interactive workshops, lectures, and field visits. Faculty members visited leading research centers of Shanghai Jiao Tong University and a modern rehabilitation center, where they explored innovative biomedical research and advanced approaches to patient care and recovery.

Beyond the academic component, participants are experiencing Hainan as a rapidly developing hub for digital innovation and healthcare, gaining valuable insights into the integration of technology, policy, and medicine.

This exchange programme represents an important step in IHSM’s internationalization efforts, contributing to the enhancement of teaching, research, and curriculum development, while strengthening global academic partnerships.
