VIII Annual Scientific and Practical Conference “Innovations in Medical Science and Education” dedicated to the Science Day of the Kyrgyz Republic

On November 5, 2025, an international scientific and practical conference was held at the International Higher School of Medicine in cooperation with the National Center for Maternal and Child Health. In the section titled “Current Issues in Teaching the State Language in the Field of Medicine,” participants included the National Commission on the State Language and Language Policy under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, M. Tynyshpaev ALT University (Republic of Kazakhstan), J. Balasagyn KNU, B. Sydykov KUMU, I.K. Akhunbaev KSMA, K. Karasaev BSU, Ala-Too International University, the “Delfi Training” Educational Center, the faculty members of the central and Issyk-Kul campuses of IHSM, as well as the founders of the “Kyrgyz Wikimedia” community and the public project “Tilimpoz.”

As part of the conference, presentations were delivered on the specifics and challenges of teaching the Kyrgyz and Russian languages to international and local students, on the comparative study of world epics, the use of modern technologies and interactive methods, methods of adapting foreign students, ways of using Wikipedia, as well as on the advantages, achievements, shortcomings, and prospects of artificial intelligence — all based on surveys and the results of scientific research. In addition, a number of proposals and recommendations were presented. Following the results of the conference, the participants emphasized the importance of further developing joint initiatives aimed at improving the system of teaching the state language in the medical field and expanding the use of innovative educational technologies.
