IHSM Officially Launches the Green and Digital University (GDU) Model

We are excited to announce that International Higher School of Medicine has officially started the implementation of the Green and Digital University (GDU) Model, as part of our ongoing commitment to sustainability, innovation, and climate-resilient development.

This milestone is a key part of our participation in the Erasmus+ GREENKG Project, aimed at building greener, smarter, and more inclusive higher education institutions across Kyrgyzstan.

Under the GDU model, the IHSM will integrate green principles into campus operations, promote digital solutions for learning and administration, and foster a culture of sustainability among students, faculty, and staff.

Key actions include the establishment of a Green and Digital Office (GDO), the development of a Green Action Plan, and the incorporation of climate education into our curricula.

The launch event featured a series of workshops, an awareness campaign, and a presentation of the GDU Action Plan. We look forward to working together — students, faculty, staff, and partners — to make our university a regional leader in green and digital transformation.
