IHSM at the First Scientific and Practical Conference on Cochlear Implantation and Inclusion

On October 20–21, 2025, the First Scientific and Practical Conference with International Participation titled “Cochlear Implantation and Inclusion: Modern Approaches to the Rehabilitation of People with Hearing Impairments” was held at Kyrgyz State University named after I. Arabaev. Representing the International Higher School of Medicine (IHSM), Dr. Gulmira Tashalievna Nazhimidinova, Associate Professor of the Department of Pediatrics, Candidate of Medical Sciences, National Trainer of PMPP, and UNICEF Expert on Early Childhood Development, delivered a presentation on: “Monitoring of Early Childhood Development: Integration into the Primary Health Care System.” In her report, Dr. Nazhimidinova highlighted current approaches to early detection and support of children with hearing impairments, emphasizing the importance of collaboration between the health care and education sectors.

The conference brought together experts in otorhinolaryngology, surdology, pedagogy, and psychology to discuss modern rehabilitation methods, inclusive education, and innovative family support practices in Kyrgyzstan.
