Masterclass for IHSM Staff on Innovative Teaching Approaches

On January 29, 2026, the International Higher School of Medicine (IHSM) hosted a Masterclass for IHSM staff, conducted by Assistant Professor Emmaline Brouwer, Ph.D.from Maastricht University, The Netherlands .

The masterclass focused on key topics in modern medical education, including:
• Education Design
• Problem-Based Learning (PBL)
• Competency-Based Learning (CBL)

The session provided valuable insights into contemporary educational strategies and interactive teaching methodologies aimed at enhancing academic practice.

At the conclusion of the masterclass, all participants received certificates of completion.
