September 23 – Ceremonial Event Dedicated to the Day of the State Language of the Kyrgyz Republic

On September 23, 2026, a ceremonial event dedicated to the Day of the State Language of the Kyrgyz Republic was held at the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic by the National Commission on the State Language and Language Policy under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The event was attended by State Secretary of the Kyrgyz Republic A.K. Koichiev, deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic, representatives of the Manas Theatre, improvisational akyns, state and public figures, representatives of government bodies, educational and scientific institutions, language specialists, and members of the public.

The International Higher School of Medicine was represented at the event by Rima Zaiyrkulova, Head of the Department of State Language and Language Policy.

The event highlighted the priority areas for the development of the state language, as well as modern projects and initiatives aimed at creating Kyrgyz-language content for children. Their works were presented by M.T. Muratаliev, Director of the Turar Publishing House; G.S. Asakeeva, representative of the Bereke Books Publishing House; N.Zh. Sarygulova, representative of the NurKids modern digital educational project; E.A. Busurmanqulov, representative of the Soz mobile application; and T.A. Moldobaev and Aida Taalaybekova, founders of the bilingual educational manual Bilimpoz.

During the event, we witnessed the development of the state language, the expansion of its sphere of use, and the growing dissemination of modern content in the Kyrgyz language.
