Ministry of culture, information, and youth policy of the Kyrgyz Republic SCO Youth Digital Forum

Argen Alymkulov, Head of the Department of Research Management at the International Higher School of Medicine (PhD in Medicine, Acting Associate Professor), participated in the SCO Youth Digital Forum organized by the Ministry of Culture, Information, and Youth Policy of the Kyrgyz Republic. The Forum served as an important platform for discussing topical issues related to the development of digital technologies, artificial intelligence, startup ecosystems, and international cooperation in the youth sector.

On the first day of the Forum, held at the Kyrgyz Technopark, the official opening ceremony took place, followed by a presentation on the topic “The Human Dimension of AI: Technology for the Benefit of All”, as well as panel sessions dedicated to policy, regulation, and national strategies in the field of artificial intelligence. The second half of the day was devoted to discussing the prospects of AI startups and the development of international cooperation.

On the second day, participants continued their work within panel sessions that addressed issues related to startups, investment, capital, and the emerging AI economy. Particular interest was drawn to the Startup Battle 2026, held in the EXPO zone of the International University of Kyrgyzstan, which demonstrated the potential of young specialists and innovative teams. The Forum concluded with a formal closing ceremony.

The participation of IHSM staff in this event confirms the importance of integrating the academic community into digital transformation processes and contributes to strengthening academic and cross-sectoral cooperation in the development of modern technologies, innovation, and youth policy.
