On March 28, 2025, Dr. Chynara Bazarbaeva from the Special Clinical Disciplines Department represented the International Higher School of Medicine (IHSM) at the 1st International Ophthalmology Forum within the One Belt, One Road initiative. The event was held alongside the 16th Shanghai Jiao Tong University Ophthalmology Forum and the 5th International Thyroid Eye Disease Forum. During the forum, Dr. Bazarbaeva actively engaged in the Orbital Surgery Model Practical Session and the Belt and Road Ophthalmologic Alliance for Development Working Meeting. She also delivered a lecture on Dry Eye Syndrome in high-altitude conditions in Kyrgyzstan, highlighting the unique challenges faced by patients in mountainous regions.
