A collaborative Olympiad for 6th-semester students at the Issyk-Kul campus of IHSM
Three teams, each consisting of five students, participated in the event, which was evaluated by a panel of four jurors: Kudaibergenova N.T., Chodoeva T.A., Sagyndykova V.S., Vice-Dean of the Issyk-Kul campus, and Mirbekova A.M. from the Department of Surgical Diseases Disciplines Department.
The Olympiad aimed to foster students’ interest in internal medicine and surgery, evaluate their theoretical knowledge and practical surgical skills, and encourage the application of physical examination principles in clinical practice.
The event included several tasks, such as team introductions, tying surgical knots, and conducting physical examinations of patients. Participants were recognized with certificates and IHSM-branded promotional items. The Olympiad was organized by Akbermet A. Anarbaeva, a lecturer from the Department of Surgical Diseases Disciplines Department of IHSM.
