Green-Kg round table at the Diplomatic Academy, Bishkek

On December 13, 2024, a round table discussion focusing on the development of “Green” and “Digital” university models was held at the Diplomatic Academy named after K. Dikambaev under the Ministry of International Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic. Organized within the framework of the ERASMUS+, GREEN-KG project, the event brought together representatives from leading universities of Kyrgyzstan, along with the Deputy Minister of Education and Science, Abazbek uulu Rasul.

The round table explored key topics such as energy efficiency, Green Human Resource Management, and the integration of sustainable technologies into higher education institutions. These discussions aimed to advance the implementation of eco-friendly and digital solutions in the Kyrgyz Republic’s academic landscape.

The International Higher School of Medicine (IHSM) was represented by Vice-Rector for International Affairs, Ainazik M. Omurzakova, Ph.D. (Law), and the Head of the International Affairs Department, Makhabat K. Karagulova, Ph.D. (Philology), Associate Professor. Their participation emphasized IHSM’s commitment to environmental sustainability and innovation in academic practices.

The ERASMUS+ GREEN-KG project continues to play a pivotal role in promoting sustainable development within higher education institutions, fostering collaboration, and driving initiatives that align with global goals for environmental and digital transformation. IHSM’s involvement reflects its dedication to contributing to the realization of these objectives.
