The round table on the topic "Some Issues of the Development of the State Language"

On March 5, 2025, a round table was held at the International Higher School of Medicine (IHSM) on the topic "Some Issues of the Development of the State Language." The round table was moderated by the Vice-Rector for Science, State Language, and Language Policy, D.Sc (Medicine), Professor, Orozali J. Uzakov.

At the event, the following speakers participated: the Chairman of the National Commission on the State Language and Language Policy under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Melis K. Muratliev, with the presentation "Applications Aimed at Learning the State Language"; Lead Specialist of the Monitoring and Analysis Department, Zinat K. Turatbekova; Director of the Media Center of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic, Kubatbek A. Chekirov, with the presentation "Massive Modernization of National Education and the Issues of the State Language"; Director of the state institution "Kyrgyztest", Batma B.Topoeva-Stavinskaya, with the presentation "Digital Platform for Teaching the Kyrgyz Language"; Co-founder of the project "Akylai", Beksultan Bakashov, with the presentation "AkylAi - The First Artificial Intelligence in the Kyrgyz Language"; Head of the Center for Innovative Research and Development, Radmir R. Gumerov, with the presentation "Creating an AI Model for Speech Recognition and Synthesis in the Kyrgyz Language" (online); Head of the State Language and Language Policy Department, Rima Zh. Zaiyrkulova, with the presentation "Development of the State Language at the IHSM “Successes and Problems"; Lecturer of the IHSM Natural Sciences Disciplines Department, PhD in Medicine, Associate Professor Gulmira M. Amanbaeva, with the presentation "Uploading Information in Kyrgyz to the Wikipedia Encyclopedia"; and the Head of the Information Technologies Department, Uran R. Musabaev, with the presentation "Using the ChatGPT Chatbot for Translating Documents into the State Language." A tour of the university was organized within the framework of the round table. The documentation and execution of documents in the state language, stands, and other aspects were demonstrated using the example of the postgraduate education department. The round table was held in both online and offline formats, with participation from the leaders and responsible staff for the state language at the International Higher School of Medicine. Within the framework of the round table, an order was read out regarding the addition of an allowance starting from March 1 for responsible staff. During the discussion, recommendations for implementation were proposed. Participants received both engaging and practical information.
