Inter-University Round Table on Philosophy

On March 28, 2026, the Department of Humanities at IHSM hosted an inspiring Inter-University Round Table on Philosophy on the topic: “Contemporary Global Problems.” The event was organized by Iurii Vladimirovich Li, PhD in Political Sciences, Associate Professor.

Students from leading universities - Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University (KRSU), Kyrgyz Economic University (KEU), and the International Higher School of Medicine (IHSM) - came together to exchange ideas, perspectives, and insights.

The round table covered a wide range of relevant and thought-provoking topics, from “Greenland: A Land of Ice or a Battlefield of Power” to “The Impact of AI on the Decline of Education.”

The discussion was lively and engaging: students actively participated, asked insightful questions, and shared diverse viewpoints, turning the event into a true platform for intellectual dialogue.

At the end of the round table, all participants were awarded certificates in recognition of their active participation.

We sincerely thank our guests and all participants for their enthusiasm and valuable contributions!

Special appreciation goes to Iurii Vladimirovich Li for the excellent organization and for preparing students at such a high level.

Heartfelt thanks to active members of the Adabiyyat Literature Club - Raga Sai Sharan and Sarkela Harshini - for their excellent moderation and support throughout the event.

This round table was more than just a discussion - it was a meeting point of cultures, ideas, and future leaders. Such initiatives strengthen inter-university collaboration, foster communication between international and local students, and deepen our understanding of the complex global realities we all share.

Together, we don’t just study global problems - we learn to think, question, and shape the future.
