IHSM Takes 2nd Place in the 2025 Ranking of Educational Programs in General Medicine in Kyrgyzstan.
The International Higher School of Medicine (IHSM) has proudly secured 2nd place in the 2025 Ranking of Educational Programs in the field of General Medicine, achieving total score of 492.80 points.
The ranking was conducted by EdNet Agency for Quality Assurance in Education, a leading independent accreditation body in the Kyrgyz Republic. EdNet was officially established on June 22, 2012, following the CANQA (Central Asian Network for Quality Assurance) project under the Tempus program (2009–2012). Since 2016, EdNet has been recognized by the Ministry of Education and included in the National Register of Accreditation Agencies, and is a full member of the International Network for Quality Assurance Agencies in Higher Education (INQAAHE).
The Ranking of Educational Programs 2025 was carried out using methodologies inspired by globally recognized agencies such as QS, Times Higher Education (THE), and others, with adjustments tailored to the educational context of Kyrgyzstan.
The evaluation encompassed up to 150 comprehensive indicators, including academic performance, infrastructure, faculty credentials, student feedback, and expert assessments — making it one of the most thorough and transparent evaluation systems in the country.
IHSM’s strong placement in the ranking reflects its continued commitment to excellence in medical education, modern infrastructure, and high standards of academic quality.
